Monster Body Shapes

These are some variations of a creature I have been developing for a personal project. I was looking at cuttlefish and other cephalopods for reference, along with certain species of fish such as the Japanese Fugu and other organisms such as amphibians, primates and cats. I was after something both terrestrial and aquatic looking. Inspiration was taken from old B-Movie monsters, along with more recent material such as 'Stranger Things', 'IT' and other monster flicks such as 'The Host'. I wanted to create something with a slight 80's look so included a webbed sail fin on some designs.
