Creature in the Woods

With this piece I thought it would be interesting to the portray the creature slumped over a huge fallen tree log like a giant leopard with it's kill. I wanted to capture quite a wet forest look so went with a cool palette to begin with, but I was also fond of a friends suggestion of introducing breaks of sunlight through the canopy, so I also quickly produced a second version experimenting with this and a dappled light effect. Comments and critique are more than welcome.
